MFA

The causes of the FMSH over the years are:

Palestine, Islamophobia, family and religious education, non-influence of LGBT campaigns and their reporting in the media, or public debates, anywhere in the Albanian space. At Family we are focused on the fight against the damage and destruction of the family, the protection of the foundations of morality and its traditional values ​​based on our religion, which constitutes the majority of Albania.

Also, the return to the attention of the Albanian public of the great figures of the great Albanian imams, such as H. Vehbi Dibra, chairman of the first Albanian Senate after the country’s Independence, and Hafiz Sherif Langu, both of these ex-heads of the Muslim Community of Albania.

 

ISLAMOPHOBIA

It is one of the main directions where the attention of our work as MFA is focused, due to the circumstances that Albanian society is experiencing its transition from 34 years of democracy in Albania. Islamophobia in Albania has its early manifestations and is usually distinguished in all different media immediately. We have worked to publicly denounce these figures, who constitute a whole gallery of characters through several media platforms, which have come to the fore and are being strengthened in Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia.

These have influenced, being driven by the extremist spirit of various Albanian media, of news coming mainly from the Middle East and Western countries. As a Muslim country that we are, as a Muslim society, we have suffered this fact, that is, the extremism of media language, since 2008. “Islamic terrorism” or “terrorism in the name of Islam”? – one of the latest headlines of the media platform: Koha Jonë (April 29, 2021), already known for its extremist and Islamophobic language towards the Albanian Muslim community.

THE ALBANIAN FAMILY AS A PROBLEM OF MUSLIM SOCIETYFamily and faith teachings – the LGBT wave and the destruction of the Albanian familyThe family has been one of the sacred causes of the Muslim Forum of Albania over the years and for this we have worked with great dedication. Foreign interventions in our country have been of several different natures, but we have been active with various declarations since May 17, 2012 on the World Day of the Family, which is celebrated by the UN. The Muslim Forum of Albania has come out in a public protest in front of the Tirana Art Gallery to say ‘no’ to homosexuality, and perverse performances in Albanian society.

The family and faith education has been in the attention of the MFA with a round table together with other Muslim associations in December 2012.
